A healthy bottom line is just as important as great ratings for a radio station. BIA Financial Network recently released the 2007 radio advertising revenue calculations, and here are the top-billing urban AC stations, in millions. The 2006 revenues are in parentheses.

2. Radio One's KMJQ (Majic 102.1)/Houston: $28.8 ($27.0)
3. Clear Channel's WDAS/Philadelphia: $26.5 ($27.0)
4. Emmis' WRKS (98.7 Kiss FM)/New York: $26.2 ($39.8)
5. Clear Channel's KHHT (Hot 92)/Los Angeles: $25.3 ($27.1)
6. Howard University's WHUR/Washington: $22.8 ($22.0)
7. Radio One's WMMJ (Majic 102.3)/Washington: $22.8 ($24.7)
8. Clear Channel's WVAZ (V103)/Chicago: $21.6 ($23.8)
