Awards Season
Nominations for the 2008 R&R Industry Achievement Awards will open on June 6, and nominations can be submitted online only. The deadline for submissions is June 20.
This year, the markets for Rhythmic Station of the Year will be broken up by Markets 1-15, 16-50, 51-100 and 101+. Other categories include OM/PD, MD, Personality or Show, Major Label, Independent Label and Label Promotion Executive of the Year. Mix shows will be recognized with the Mix Show Team, Mix Show DJ and Mix Show Label awards.
June 20 is also the date that the early bird discounted registration rate of $200 off for R&R Convention '08 expires.
